Considering a vocation in an animal care field? Zookeeping is hard work. In this program you are guaranteed to work hard, and get sweaty and dirty in the process. Animal husbandry in a world class zoo includes everything from scrubbing and raking, checking weights, to preparing food, and so much more. The pay-off is big—satisfaction in a job well done while learning amazing animal facts from the experts and watching the animals thrive. This program is in an immersive zoo exploration. Participants work behind the scenes all day long under the guidance of professional zookeepers, attend training workshops and study animal nutritional guidelines. This camp is a career maker!

Zoo Careers is a 6-night long camp which begins at 12:00PM Saturday morning and ends promptly Friday morning at 9:00AM. Adventure Camps are fully chaperoned resident camps that include the following amenities:
